halloween costumes

can you believe it is already going to be halloween shortly? neither amy nor i have planned our outfits yet. i haven't dressed up in ages, however, so it might not even happen.

i was looking through some old photos and i came across these. amy was in elementary school and i was in kindergarten at the time. amy is the fairy princess and i am the forlorn pumpkin. if i look sad, it's because i was. i remember desperately wanting to be a fairy princess in a dress too, not a pumpkin carrying around a plastic pumpkin for the candy.

and yes, i was sporting a bowl cut.
